Law Practice
Lane Chitwood is a registered patent attorney. His practice focuses on intellectual property and complex litigation, and his litigation experience includes patent, trademark, copyright, unfair competition, fraud, contract and licensing disputes. Mr. Chitwood has represented clients in courts across the country, including California, Colorado, Delaware, Massachusetts, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington. He has worked as an extern for the International Trade Commission and the Board of Patent Appeals & Interferences, as a patent examiner intern for the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, and with law firms such as Fish & Richardson in Washington, DC. Mr. Chitwood has studied at Oxford University in England, where he was a member of the rowing team, and he is a licensed private pilot. He is licensed to practice in the state of Oregon.
