BOISE, IdahoZarian, Midgley and Johnson, PLLC (Zarian Midgley) has hired an additional attorney, Justin Stewart, who relocates to Boise from a major law firm in Dallas, Texas.

Stewart, a registered patent attorney, brings experience in many areas of intellectual property law, including patent prosecution, patent litigation, technology licensing, and patent portfolio development and management. His specific areas of practice include a wide range of technologies, from telecommunications and financial systems to optical networking and mechanical/industrial devices.

“Justin’s background and experience make him a great fit for our law practice and clients,” said John Zarian, the firm’s managing attorney.

Stewart comes to Zarian Midgley from the international law firm of Baker Botts, LLP in Dallas, Texas. Prior to joining Baker Botts, he was also associated with Alverson, Taylor, Mortenson and Sanders in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is licensed to practice in the states of Texas and Nevada, and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Stewart received his Juris Doctor (cum laude) in 2003 from Brigham Young University, where he was an editor of the BYU Law Review. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University in 1999.
